Renzo Piano's first residential project in New York City is characterized by curved glass corners, strongly vertical bands of uninterrupted glazing, warm white oak millwork, and generous bathrooms with standalone soaking tubs. Damon Liss's staging of the apartment adds a sensuous layer of rich fabrics in muted tones to soften the interiors. The photos leverage filtered and indirect light to aid in Liss's goal. The views West across the Hudson River, and sightlines North and South to Hudson Yards and the World Trade Center, respectively, are unique to the site's location on Manhattan's West side and undeniable protagonists.
