Occupying a coveted Georgica Pond plot with a historic house is a compound of new structures designed New York City firm Architecture Outfit. These three new buildings each function to accommodate distinct programs: public spaces (entry, living room, office), private spaces (kitchen, family room, bedrooms), and the third houses the garage and pool house. Continuity of materials from the exterior to the interior—from the stone flooring to the shingle siding, to the brick chimney—further blur the boundary between exterior and interior on already highly transparent volumes.
