Three shingled volumes connected by glass bridges enjoy a privileged site overlooking the bay in Sag Harbor. Each structure is differentiated not only but its unique, faceted shape — a design move that is carried over to the chimneys — but also by the degree of privacy and intimacy. The central pavilion houses the most public spaces: living, dining and kitchen; the southernmost holds the den and primary suite; the northernmost has the family room and guest bedrooms. All of these have direct connections to the masterfully landscaped exterior envisioned by Laguardia Design Group. Like the house, the grounds are unfussy and welcoming, befitting a relaxed retreat on the water.
